Almost 2 weeks since i last post any photos of my tank. Before doing some trimming to the "Hong Tai Yang", decide to take a few photos.

This is how my tank looks like after 73 days.

Sorry for the late reply, my 10 BPS is more of an estimation. Too fast to be counted.

Update for my tank. Playing around with my simple PNS camera to check out the effect. Alot of my shoots got a greenish glow which a photographer told me it's call "colour cast". Did some adjustment to the white balance and got this photo.

Glosso still growing like weeds, invaded the whole tank.

Nice little corner with a huge playing field. Well done.

Be happy about glosso invading your tank, most of us do not have the same success as you. Enjoyed it.

Don't worry about it. Yours will be lush and green as well. Give it time.

Yea man. Just last week I was whining about my glosso not growing too. Now, they've started to grow like mad. One corner of my tank's already "glossofied".
    Cheers,
    Sean

I am trying to stun glosso growth too. I am experimenting with giving it half the light , 2x54W now. Hopefully Algae won't start coming.

Hi Jervis, no need envy actually, on either side, we are the same - trying to strike a balance.

Been a while since i just post in this thread.

Here's my update for the tank. The glosso had proven to be too much for me to handle, they basically grow way too fast. So i decided to uproot them, replaced them with the slower HC. Hope HC will do well in my tank too. Pictures will be post at a later date after everything looks clearer.

Advise needed. I wish to add stones to my scape, will it look weird if i add stones at the glosso's area? I tried a few times using stones and wood and i failed badly. My plan is to use my Iwagami stones formation and add it into my current 4 footer. Wonder will it work or will it looks strange.

If you want to add stones in... maybe you should consider removing that branch that protrude out into the Glosso field. Without that, you can have more freedom with your stones. But it's not going to be easy.

Re: 4 footer planted tank Journal

After 2 years with this scape, I decided to move on. Will be tearing down this scape and try out a scape using rocks. With my tank placement, again i will need a scape that can be viewed from 3 position.

Plants will be mainly hairgrass and nana. From previous experience glosso and stemmed plants are too much for me to handle.

Any bros here has any good LFS to introduce for buying stones or rocks? Preferred those greyish granite type.
