While you're at it, just wondering but when was the last time your cleaned your filter? Poor water circulation can also cause BBA to appear.

4bps is really too high for a 60l tank ime. Go with 2bps and make sure that the CO2 is well mixed within the tank. As plants grow in or when filter gets dirty, you will often face issues due to lack of mixing thus plants get less nutrients and CO2 in low flow areas. Do not get crazy and add the amount that you are adding now just because you have BBA. You need to trim it off from equipments and etc and then add a tad more CO2 say 2.1-2.2bps and then monitor if the BBA returns on the previously infected stuff. It should not if the CO2 is good and gets around the tank well. Btw, the N,P,K concentration from nutrafin N,P,K is not EI standard nor is seachem trace the recommended general trace mix...go for Seachem Flourish..not trace.

bro, before i posted this thread, im having 2 - 2.5bps.. my ceramic diffusor is placed under my rain bar.. so the tiny bubbles get blown around the tank.. but not all the tiny bubbles get dissolved.. may 60 - 80% get dissolved only.
i will be getting the powder from of kno3 and kh2po4 after i finish using the nutrafin npk.. didn't wan to waste it.
hmm... it seems weird.. i was told to use trace instead of florish for the trace mix.. and someone told me that florish is not used for trace. different people say different thing..bro, what if i dose both florish and trace? would it be better? thanks..

Flourish has higher concentration of certain element while trace is light weight stuff. Just use the regular Flourish would do. Get rid of the BBA on equipment first and see if it comes back. If it does, your CO2 need work. (Diffuser clogging would lower it's efficiency as does lower flow rate from filter decrease mixing - all would influence CO2). CO2 is 95% cause of most folks problems with algae.

Any adjustment of CO2 should be done slowly! Add a tad more and then wait for the week and see if things improve or if BBA do return. Do not add 2bps now and then change to 3bps...that is alot!
