Question: What badis is it? The "real" Badis badis is blue and big. Some LFS are selling the red and small one as Badis badis or scarlet badis, but the actual scientific name is Dario dario.

If it's Badis badis, it's a no no, your shrimps will be snacks for them.
If it's Dario dario, it depends on your tank setup. D. dario can be aggressive, but if your tank has lots of plant cover, or if your shrimps are much larger than they are, then they probably be safe.
However, note that shrimps do molt and when they do, they would be at their most vunerable period. So inevitably, your mileage will vary.
B. brigittae being mostly a top to middle level fish would probably be a safer bet.
Edit: Your question on where to find B. brigittae has been split here, http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=32804
