Anyone seen this fish, Ctenopoma Ansorgii? Here is a link to a picture of it.

I can't remember the commercial name, something spiketail?

Does anyone have any knowledge on this fish or where I can get it?

The actual name is Microctenopoma ansorgii. Common name is probably ornate or orange ctenopoma.

Pretty rare for our LFS. Of the two I got around a month back, one did not survive, but the other is doing rather well.

If only there are more of these... I doubt we will see them anytime soon, unless someone decides to bring in some interesting fishes from Africa.

i've since owned a pair of these ... but later returned to shop..haha.. just wanted to try for fun... saw them in shop..so ..how to resist..haha..

Pretty aggressive fish. When I first saw this fish back in 2004, I remember it was about 30 bucks per fish!
