Hi, I'm thinking of getting an Eheim Pro II 2028 filter for the 4-ft setup I'm planning. What is the approximate cost of this filter, and where can I get it at a good price?

I think you should budget between high two hundred dollars and low three hundred dollars for one. Be sure to check out different packages. Some package seems more expensive as there are more accessories (such as media, installation sets, etc) included.
As for where to buy, I think most places would sell it. Since you are at Bukit Merah, try Soon Heng at Henderson Road. Otherwise, Block 328 at Clementi Ave 2.

Best place to get it is Aquamarin. Complete set with filter media is $3xx.

Also take note that some packages give Eheim's original filter media, whilst others give zeolite.
