For lighting stuff, if you are not really sure what to get, or you some some customize stuff, you might want to go NA. But if you already know what you want and the brand, does not really matter where, just go to a shop that has lowest price.

as for the fluorescent lamp, can i just go to any shop that sell lamp to buy or got to go to fish shop buy?

As for the "k" stuff, how high is high? 6500 is it enough for a 30cm depth tank?

Fish shop will most likely cost more... if you buy those aquatic plants light then it might be more $$$... I remember I bought 3ft FL Arcadia 25W T8 light tube for $30+ a pcs. Now my LFS choice is NA at Balestiar...

I go for Osram/Elbiru, what even cheapo tube I can get my hands on (within 6500K to 8000K temp) cost ~$10 a pcs... even tried those unknown FL light for $3.50 (sold cheapo shop "forever closing down sale")

But I feel there is a slight different, using arcadia tube, I have less algae problem, and plants grow really well... I have 50W of arcadia Freshwater light over my Glosso and it spread like wild fire and bubbles readily... after then I bought a set of 2x 36W PL Osram... the glosso stop bubbling. Fert & CO2 regime not much diff... or is it just psycho effect...
