I bought a bottle of Hikari fish flakes 3 months back and when I first used it, it was in good shape with pretty large flakes. Recently I find that the flakes has disintegrated into a fine powder and but still has the smell of garlic (one of the ingredients). Is it still usable like say for fish fry?

I remembered my Sera San flakes also started to disintegrate after a while when I was using it in the past. Is this because I left it where it is exposed to the afternoon sun? Does this affect other fish food like Microwafers, pellets or fish tabs? Anyone experienced this?
    Yours Truly, Avan

I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life... to put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

All fish consume food or medication should be place at shaded area or room temperature to prolong its effectiveness.
suggest you throw away your flakes. next time is best to keep opened flake in the fridge
