    Very peaceful, calming effect. What's the substrate you're using? Looks like sand to me....

    Acardia HOT5 4 tubes.

    No CO2. 2026 filter. WC once in 2 weeks . Just CRS

    well scaped and low maintenance.. that I like! any fert. regime since CRS are quite sensitive?

    no base fert. no liquid fert.

    just root moster. water change twice a week . 1/5 change. crs breeding like crazy.

    I've not used sand as a substrate before. Is it inert like lapis? Does the sand hold the plants firmly down when you just planted it?

    i suggesting laying some ada pebbles in assorted size at the front, to join your plants with the seemingly bare foreground.

    Saw the ADA 2007 no. 1 tank? He uses quite a bit of the ada pebbles.

    Try walking around the nurseries along Thomson, you might be surprised at the amount of things they have that you could use a accents in your tank.
