    Hey,

    That's a very nice tank..

Youe choice of Cardinals and Marbled Hatchet fishes are excellent in regards to colour contrast with the background and aquascaping...

    Beautiful....[] [] []

    Nice!! Well done.

3rd picture, under the cardinals is an orangy object... plant or fish? What is it?

Wow cool tank you have. What's the long grass you have at the back of your tank.

the long hairgrass is probably Eleocharis vivipara - not commonly used, but works very well as a background plant in small to medium tanks like Hatchet's.

    i like!

    Thanks Simon,

I know the riccia gonna float on me. But I usually will re tie it up after 3 months and do something new. Thanks again for the help.

I think the pix that I emailed you are the same.
I will email you the ID of the plants.

    Cheers.

vinz, the orange object is a red lotus plant, I had half a year ago and I thought that I have uprooted it. Recently, it started to sprout. What the chinese saying is true, 'When you want to kill the plant, remember to take out all the roots.' he he he.

The tall plants i bought from the shop, they called it long hair grass. The scientific name I not sure.

Beautiful setup.. The first picture looks like one from Amano collection. Very professionally taken. Can you share with me how you crop the picture such that you see only the tank? Did you take the shot in a totally dark environment? Thanks.

    Nice!

And the photos are very nice too. No distracting elements to disturb the aquascape. Did you take the picture in darkness or remove the other parts with photoshop?
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

I like it. You aquascaping makes it look bigger than 3ft.
Mind if I sit in front of your tank?

I did shoot the pic in total darkness, The first pic, I did remove the surrounding in photoshop to enhance on the glow of the aquarium.

But seem like in a few weeks time, I will have to do a major renovation to a few of the riccia as it will dislodge soon.

    Thanks for all your comments.
