Where to buy rubber ring for media trays

Hi all,

Can anyone advice where to buy rubber rings for the media trays?
My filter is Penn-Plax Cascade 1200. The filter was given to me by a friend, & he can't remember where he bought filter from.. Or can i just get any rubber rings from other brands of filters?

Actually the ring seals on the trays are not so important... I was running my canister with the seals as I forgot to put them in after I wash them... Canisters were still running fine...

Well i guess it will still run, but will the filtration efficiency decrease as the inlet water & the outlet water are mixed?

Well everything was running fine... Anyway the Canisters are meant more for BB to grow & for them to break down waste... So to me it does not matter as I'm keeping shrimp & you can't see the waste of shrimp...

But I did not have any problems...

Try to get the rubber seals from other brands they should work as the trays are similar for the China brand one (I have one) & the Eheims I have...

PS Try to get the China brand ones... Cheaper...
