How do they mail to you ensuring the survivability of the fishes or CRS?
What form of packaging they use?

It depends what kind of fishes or livestock you're ordering and where they come from.

Maybe you can quote what you're getting and from where so that we can help you out in more specific details.

I believe the biggest challenge for ordering fishes is getting custom clearnace as you would need a fish importer license to clear the shipment. Things may have changed recently though as my last orders were about a decade ago.

Got a query. Let's say the fish is dead when we receive it. Who's onus is that usually? The seller or the buyer, when we're purchasing probably a pair only...

Usually the seller has a DOA policy. Within a set period of time after you receive your fish shipments, you must revert back to the seller if any fishes came Dead On Arrival. Fish carcass must be kept and returned (If requested) to the seller for verification. The price of the lost fish is usually offset from future orders. This infomation was taken from my previous dealings with overseas fish exporters.
