Hi, i'm setting up a new 2ft tank for dwarf cichlids. Would like to ask around whether anyone has seen ceramic caves for dwarfs cichlids for sale at any LFS.

I saw the shop at Yishun have it. I can't remember the name but not Y618, it is the size of 2 shop, 1 selling only equipment the other site selling fish and plant. It's the clay ball with 2 round hole at the frond and back. You are staying at Yishu so you should know which shop I'm talking about.

Oh i already have the clay ball type. Its Aquastar Y934.
Are there other types of clay or ceramic caves. Also wondering where to get those small sized pots. Haven't seen them at those flower shops.

small clay pots can be bought really cheaply from Teo's farm. those are the best looking pots imo. alternatively, i have found that using wavy shaped pieces of driftwood with naturally formed caves works very well for breeding spots. somehow the apistos prefer it to my pots

I would agree that Daiso has a good selection of ceramic 'caves'. Try looking for sauce or toothpick dispensers in the household section. I got 2 bamboo ones from there too. I'll see if I can get a picture later on when I have the time.

    Cheap and good.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
