CRS still not working out too well.

The tank parameters after some advise is

Temp is drop from 24 to 25 range to 23 to 24 range
PH is around 5.8 to 6.1 - is it too low, was 5.5... do I need to bring it up a little more ?

Feeding them a variety of food. Not sure which one they actually like yet.

Took out the bigger cory as it was mentioned that they may disturb the CRS. Now replaced with "dwarf cory" which is about the size of an adult CRS (4 of them). Also put in some fishes (live bearers).

KH is 6 and above (but below 10)

What do I need to look at ?
They are definitely not breeding and dying at a rate of about 2-3 a week.

While of some CRS also seems to be fading.

is your tank fully cycled..??.. if it is not.. lots of problems..

dont feed for now (will only add to waste).. I guess you have moss and plants in there.. they will be fine..

6PH is ok.. not necessary to reduce..

I keep mine at temp of 26degrees..

Did you introduce new plants recently..??.. (damselfly nymph predator)

Agreed that you have to check if Ammonia/nitrite is 0.

kH is a bit too high. High kH + low pH means C02 is high -> less Oxygen in your water.

My tank's kH is 0 to 1 only.

Using GeX (Green packaging)
Canister filter with fludizer
CO2 injection to duffuser

Mainly mosses
PH is 6.0
KH is > 6 (what the test stripe says)
Put in mineral rock also

72W PL light, 10k
On for 7 hrs with CO2

Feed with everything I can get my hands on
Temp now set at 23C (base on thermometer in tank)

Have 4 corys (mini size ones)
Have 8 guppies (small)

So far, barely maintaining the population and definitely no babies,
Also white for quite a few are coming off.
My snow white is turning "golden" ....

Nope, I would not think so.

The fishes I just added to the tank. It use to be a CRS only tank and it was the same.

Still figuring it out. Going to stave them a few more days again to see how they respond to food then.

I hope it is not. Anyway the canister and fluidizer bed filter < 3 months.

The flow rate is still going strong. check for Nitrate and nitrites and both are 0.

Water is not cloudy and no algae issue.

Nitrate cannot be 0 for a cycled tank. Time to change your test kits.

Cheap stuff lahhhh... as long as it is not in the "RED"area.

Anyway will go check again.
Put in duck weed sometime ago because heard it would be more effective in taking out ammonia.

So far, at least since the last time you saw it, no more losses... keeping my fingers crossed. Also give you a peace of mind that my tank is getting there and it is safe for your precious shrimps in their soon to be new home.
