hello folks, im a complete newbie to keeping fish and have just bought a 32 litre tank to keep coldwater fish. It came with an ATMAN AT F301 'power liquid filter'.

The problem is that there are no instructions for its assembly or use and it came with a length of tube with a small plastic bulb on one end. There are also a few different straight plastic union connecting pieces.

As far as I could establish I have connected a 'T' piece to the pump outlet and connected the tube to the 90 degree outlet. It seems that the only way to get bubbles from the oulet is by having the bulb end of the tube above the water level.

It may sound stupid but i havnt got a clue what to do unless i re-visit the shop where i bought the kit (there were less than elpful in the first place.)

Also on the front of the pump there is a blue slider with markings of + and - but even after setting to the alleged lowest setting the force from the outlet seems too high and seems to be causing too high a current for the fish.

I have scoured the net for Atman products to no avail. It sems that Atman do not include directions with this cheaper range of pump.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    regards

Your setup sounds correct. The bulb is the air diffuser, primarily to enrich the water with oxygen content.
