Just setup a Nano tank yesterday for my future apistogrammas.
    Tank size: 28x18x20 cm
    Lights: 13W clip on PL
Filter: DIY cannister with 250L/H flow rate + Under gravel filter
    Substrate: ADA Amazonia
    CO2: Pressurize CO2 3bps with diffuser
    Here's the pictures:
    Hardscape

Will add in more plants. Maybe will keep some moss for Apisto.

    Comments and advises always welcome!

Oh so its a fries tank.
I thought it too small for a pair of Apistogrammas. Very nice driftwood arrangement. What variant of java fern is that? Narrow leave java fern?

You really should add more HC. It'll fill in faster.

I do not know whether the HC can survive under 13W lighting condition for this tank.
If it start spreading without melt, i'll transfer more HC into this tank!

There are very high chances of it melting. That's the HC changing to submersed conditions. More HC will also mean higher survival rate and more chances of it spreading.

My HC are in submerge form.
Other than lighting, another worry for me is the temperature, as i do not have fan for this tank.

you must let me know if 13W lighting is enough for HC. there's a discussion on another thread about light intensity for HC and it was recommended that at least an 18W bulb is used, and that even at 22W with 2 11W bulbs, it may not be as good as a single 18W. so if 13W is good enough for your tank, it'd be great news for a number of us...i've been thinking of using jap hairgrass for my nano (13W light) due to the high requirements of HC...but if i can use HC, i'd do it without a 2nd thought!

But it also very much depends on the tank depth. Currently i am putting the 13W clip on PL light very near to the surface.
Because i got an experience for my 2ft HC tank whereby original lights of 3 x T5HO which i bought from NA was insufficient.
I modified the light reflector, light stand and change the transparent cover to glass cover, my HC doing well!!

I also planing to get some Japanese hairgrass from NA tomorrow.

I think the scape would look better if you the 2 pieces of moss ball you put in front of your driftwood and tie some moss to the rocks

Yup. Tie some one the rocks on the left too would be good. Or maybe replace the moss ball with anubias var. nana.
