    actually the moss ball thing between the wood looks like algae...i know it is not algae..but looks like...

    i know this tank is small so some really small leafed plant has to be used in its place if you will consider replacing it. Oh..and plant more HC la...

    Yes, the tank is so small as not many plant suit.
    HC? haha....yes i am planted some HC at foreground but worry about the lighting and temperature...

    Update....
    Japanese Hair grass growing well.
    HC also start growing but growing upward instead of creeping
    13W lighting is really insufficient for the HC even at 20cm height tank.
    Any others miniature leafs plant suitable for the tiny tank foreground?

    Update picture for my little nano.
    HC still survive but no spreading. Maybe the Jap Hairgrass will taking over the foreground soon.

    I think anubias is going to grow too big for this size of a tank. Moss or stargrass family plants more suitable provided you have the compressed CO2 supply and strong light.
