Note: Also I not know if the cost on the deltec reactors come with all parts, or I have to spend a few extra hundred on each of them?
Please do take your time, for we still have a few months before I will need to order the reactor for the 150 gal reef tank>

The time is coming ever so near to where i will finally begin to enjoy something out of these tanks>

    Thanks
    Buddy
Will have seven tanks in all: Two 40 gal breeders for QT, one for FO and the other is to be divided into two separated tank sections with their own filters for corals. Two tanks running as one system, a 70 & 130 gal tanks with a 150, 180 and 240 gal reef tanks. In the next few months to come, the 150 and 180 will be started up after I the new QT for corals setup. Finally!!!

Yikes! That is a lot of calcium reactor. No worries Buddy, I'll try to do a comparison between the Deltec and the ones you've listed. But here's a list of why I favour the Deltec over the others.

    Pros-
    1) Deltec reactor has a probe holder for the Ph probe. You could set a ph setting on the ph controller and the Ph probe would be placed at the probe holder on the calcium reactor.

    2) Deltec reactor comes with a bubble counter.

    3) Deltec reactor has a built in gas collector whereby if the amount of co2 in the reactor exceed a certain amount, which could harm the pump, this valve will automatically pop out on it's own to release the co2 immediately before the pump is damaged due to exposure to co2 gas ( running dry instead of pushing water ).

    4) Deltec reactor are plug and play.( as far as I know )

    Cons-
    1) Price.....

I will look over the list you've provided. What you'll need other than the calcium reactor is a Ph Controller ( American PinPoint brand looks good ), a CO2 tank ( I don't know how large a tank you could carry, check with the lfs you'd frequent to, see whether they support a 1 to 1 co2 tank exchange ) and a solenoid and regulator for the co2 tank.

It was others who said that I could go with a Geo or some other type of reactor and few even gone as far to say that a cheap reactor will do the same thing for you, LOL perhaps that idea is correct when we were talking about the phosphate reactor. Price wise isn`t really the issue here BFG, I rather to spend a extra hundred and in knowing I will have something working well on the tanks. I cant see how I could go the cheapest route now, even after this long wait I had due to something not under any control of my own. Besides, on the equipment that was first listed, I will not be buying those all at one time, and the skimmers for the 150 and 180, i will only get those if the ER skimmers no longer do it for me. So for the 150 when its about the time to start, I only need two items, the calcium and phosphate reactors. And the phosphate reactor, I not need to get this right away, but rather 3-4 months later. So even if in the long run of these tanks, that im to get every single item on the Deltec list, I will not be buying those now for two tanks, but one at a time. Now others said and I agree that there is always a good piece of equipment out there, only I not know them and I do know that deltec should give me my money worth and yes, there is always at a certain time that the equipment needs to be adjusted. And being that I have to get down under the tanks for the skimmers, I should be able to manage this as well. Thanks

Buddy, found this thread about reactor. Seems Schuran has issue with customer support and hard to find spare part, KNOP is not favoured in the thread and GEO gets the thumbs up.

No one mention about Deltec though.

Great Caesars Ghost, I thought that we settled that any the equipment I would get will be Deltec?? This now has me at a lost to what im to do for I thought I could call Dough of deltec if any questions, which i already done so twice, and he returned my call the same day. As for now since I thought it was that I would stick with my feelings, meaning Deltec, I now moved to the search on corals, other then easy soft corals for the 150.
I know that the Geo is a good product, but they only make three models, do they not? Now if I must or need to, I could change over as for the calcium reactors and so, what of the skimmers? Would this include the Kalk stirrers/reactors? For if so, this wipes out my equipment idea in plan and places me back to square one.

BFG, I know your out of the US, half way around the world from me, but if I can call you it may help more. My time is eastern time and at my time, I can call anywhere from 9 PM tonight to 2PM the next day. If this works for you, PM me the complete number to call and see if you can figure out in my time when I might call.

Buddy, if you've made up your mind about Deltec, stay with it. I was just pointing out about the Knop, Schuran and GEO situation at your side of the world. I'll pm you my number then.
