He said that the tank was setup before he went to BMT.....
Unless you're an officer or Warrant Officer, you probably can setup a fish tank!

You mean unless you are a officer or a WO you can't set up a fish tank. Apart from the recruits there, sarges are probably the lowest lifeform....get stepped upon by everyone else.

Heck, sarges are the lowest lifeform, cos even recruits get some protection.

But back to the tank. I like it! It's the "chilli bush look" (moss and red cherries). And this tank, according to the flickr album proves what I suspect all along...the less you meddle with the tank, the better....

    Nice ...... for now

Looks good, but once your java moss grow, it will cover up all the bogwood, not unless you keep trimming.

To LimBei: Hi ya... thank you ... thank you for your comment but i just don't understand why my moss don't cover the bogwood... that's the problem... and i doon't have any CO2 injection... is this the cause of not covering the bogwood? Did you use CO2? if you do use, then, i should know the reason why..

To all those whom replied: Yesyyes... this tank was set up before i went to BMTC last July... so, it's about 4months old now and doing well...
    Thank you for all comments...

    My tanks

I did not use CO2 initially; now I have it, but I don't see much difference. I used it because I was hoping that the Spiky moss inside the tank will grow thicker, but it didn't. I have another 2 tanks in my office and the spiky moss is very thick, so I reckon that temperature plays a more important part for the grown of moss.

Hmmm? i think CO2 plays a part .... my temp is always at 24-25.... and it didn't cover the bogwood... think, it need another 3 months or so ? we'll see how ,ok ?

Reader, please do comment on CO2 and temperature.. thank you...
