Over the weekend, bought some golden tetra and rescaped another 2.5ft tank. Before that, the tank looked 'abused'.

    Before:-

    Today:-

I think the new tank has come alive in time for CNY

Thats a very nice and relaxing feel to your final scape excellent job I must say!!
I've always like an empty space around the scape, good for a school of little cories

Simple and nice! Maybe a few Autumn Angels might fit the scape?

Hi Vincent, no problem. See you after CNY when the tanks are ready.

I heard you called Benny to ask about the recce and that's nice of you. This tank can't take any serious shots because of space restriction.

Yes Cacatuoides. When i redo this tank, I intended to create space in order to exude an impression that the size of the layout is bigger than the real size of the tank.

Thanks for the compliment, uklau. I am trying my best to rejuvenate whatever tanks I have for the new year.

I look at the tank again and really! Small altums may be ideal

But the tank is just 2.5ft X 1.5ft (ht) and 1ft (w) and they will suffer after sometime.

Quick and go grab it. Your 5 footer has good allowance to create more impressive layout with these woods.

Hebi, I am still very far from amano's work. I am glad you like this open concept and wish you luck in your new scape. We are here to share ideas and feel free to ask.

I hope you meant 'qi'. Otherwise, it means that the flow rate is too high to create a small twister and disaster is brewing...
