Here are some of my pictures of the Apistogrammas and the Tanganyikan shellies from the shipment. The L. occelatus are very cute specimens. Small and always sticking on the sand, digging into it and then peering out of the "fox hole" they created and resting on their ventrals like they were hands.

When the Gibbiceps is flaring it's really quite a sight. Very impressive.
I still find it hard to believe that the T. Candidi is only 2 cm long
Like Eugene said, the L. occelatus are really cute, I think they are no bigger than 1.5cm.
My favorites are the caudopuntatus and the Signatus. The Signatus, with it's buldging eyes, remind me of the mud skipper.

Your photos are FANTASTIC.. so are the fish..
Jerry

Very impressive photos indeed! Looks like you are improving quite a bit. Shooting pictures in the shops are always quite a challenge. Usually very hard to get decent shots. Well done!
Cheers,
p.s. the Lamprologus caudopunctatus seems a bit hot. Might want to tone it down a little.
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Hi Eugene,
Nice shots of the cichlids there~! .. and Nice specimens brought in by Thio.
The L.meeli and L.signatus looks good.![]()

Impressive photos of the shellies. I especially like that shot of the L. occelatus 'gold'.![]()

A pity the Pelvicachromis Nigeria Red and Kienke were sold off before I got there.

Well if the response is so good then i'm sure there'll be more in the near future!

Gene, you managed to get the T.candidi to flare long enough!
Great shots on the shellies. Diffuse the flash more to reduce the "hotness" as suggested by Benny.
The fish were pre-booked by a collector friend when our list was out the last time. We were a little unsure on the buying response then, because hobbyists prefer to view first, that was the reason why the stocks were low.
Anyway, we will pay more attention to these nice specimens in our next shipment. Do watch out for them..
Cheers

Nice fishes. The shellies are real cute. One thing though, the scientific names are worth relooking into.![]()

Any good literature on sexing the shellies?
Was staring at the fishes for awhile on Saturday and totally clueless of their sexes!

There are some good articles on Tanganyika shellies here--->http://www.cichlid-forum.com/article...ler_corner.php
Species profiles are also available on the same website--->http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profile...ory.php?cat=14
Plenty of pictures and information on them.
How i wish i have 1 or 2 tanks to spare for them.
This is interesting and I'm new to this. Does the fish actually sit on the base like goby does? Didnt notice much about them last weekend.

Hi,
They actually do sit on their fins like a goby. They are pretty interesting fishes to observe.
I am pretty curious what will be the requirement of keeping these beauties?
Do they need a fully rock scape designed tank for them to be kept in?
Any minimum size?
What is their diet like?
And from my limited knowledge, these fishes love shells, where can we get them?

Anybody got any pictures of them and their shells? How big are those shells anyway?

Mr Thio i think it'll be great if you could sell shells suitable for these shellies too!
