Anyway since it's free there is a long queue. i prefer to give to people who knows how to keep rather then to sell to those who don't know how to keep them.

Money isn't really my main motive with keeping apisto and breeding them, my main objective is to share the joy of keeping apisto i'm sure there is more people who will breed and sell their apisto later on in the future.

Cons for giving away free stuff is that they usually dun treat them as well as what they purchase with money thats a very very bad attitude and i refrain myself from giving this kind of people my fishes. I care for my fishes future not for money sake.
    Cheers!

I wish too.[] [] [] [] But not everyone thinks this way becos they speak about money not about interest. Mind over matters if you don't mind it doesn't really matters.

Hey nice pics, what camera you use? and I like your quote of mind over matter! your exams over yet? I trying to mind over matter for mine, but mind inside still no matter. sigh... must from zero to hero again.

and I guess one of the issues to consider is how and where you sell your fries if you want to. Like in this forum for instance, there's a culture of free exchange/gift of plants and fishes, so I think its in very bad taste to sell for profit here. I think its fine to ask for a very nominal sum to offset the costs of your hobby tho, but nominal sum not a proper LFS price. but still willing seller/ willing buyer so I guess its individual choice.

previously i'm selling my apisto for $8 per peice cheaper anywhere you can find moreover better quality too. Got my pair for $40 in the end i really got tired of people paying me a small sum of money and in return ill treat my fishes too...

Yup Exams are Over but yet many more ahead. It's usually free and no exchange just to add. I'm not saying that Singaporean are kiasu people as i'm aslo a fellow Singaporean, it seems that more people flock over something that is free then something they have to pay. We are all into this hobby with the same interest, i may be willing to share but how many others are willing to do so. What i usually ask those people i've given my fish to give me feedback on their condition as i'm very worried over my fish, i do get a few feedbacks but out of 10 of them i will get 2-3, i don't ask much just want to know how my fishes are doing. (i wonder whats so difficult). it took me a long time before they are mature , it takes time, effort, money to raise them just any ignorant fishkeeper can kill it without education on fishkeeping. I have many tanks to store my fry and i can refuse to let go my fishes and sell them to FIsh farm but my main motive as stated earlier is to share the interest, share this hobby together as one. Apisto as a matter of fact isn't really "that" difficult to keep all they need is regular water change and feeding.

That shot is all thanks to KF who help me took the shot, it' was a CAnon G2 mine only canon S40 cannot fight his standard.

Just to update the fry will soon be ready for collection in a matter of weeks will pump them more to size them up So to those people who are in my reserve list prepare a tank for them =) And sorry to those who'll not get their apisto this time round. I foresee the next batch ready for collection is starting of june/2003.

This are the few people who will be collecting i'll first give them and the rest will have my remaining fishes if i still have.

Well , benetay take you time. Since u are giving out the fishes for free. People should not complaint about it. Maybe they can take these time to research on that apisto u r giving them and give them a more cosy home.
Well, glad i did not make it as my tank currently has a outbreak of internal bacteria, Otherwise, I would not know where to keep them
