Thanx Simon. So which is which? The tall one is C. beckettii? How about the little ones? Anyway can't find C. blassii in The Crypt Pages.

Simon, you talking about C. balansae? The tall crypt?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    C. balansae should be those with the long strappy leaves right. So C. beckettii would be the tall crypt with the long stalk? How come all are Ceylon crypts, no local crypts?

for those trying to learn about crypts, the C. balansae is recorded (according to the crypts pages) as C. crispatula var balansae.

Won't it be better if the fertilizer is pushed slightly away from the glass and fill the gap with substrate? that way the tank will look better without 2 layer of colours and algae will not flourish so soon.
