Does anyone have any prior experience in keeping these little catfishes?

Google their name but not much came up, mostly from the Japanese blogs and the translation is hilarious but makes no sense.

Would like to know more about them – habitat, range, behaviour etc Thanks!

Checked my ruler, they are only about 1.5cm I think. Currently I keep them with my rasbora kubotai and some green shrimps.

    Wuhu at Tiong Bahru.

I saw only 4 or 5 bags, each containing 2.

Here's some information from planet catfish: Tridensimilis sp.

I am not sure at all if it is really Tridensimilis nemurus as you call it. Nevertheless, C328 florist does brings them in recently.

    Looks pretty darn interesting!
Read from the link provided by Ah_ZhaN that they originated in a shipment of Corydoras pygmaeus from Peru! Wonder how they would fare with them as i assume they all originate from the same area?
Also read that they attack larger more peaceful fishes and prey on live crustaceans!
Seems to me their alittle too aggressive to be kept within a community tank!
Jwuog, care to share some more info on their behavior in your tank?(attacking other fauna, diet etc...)
Also...are they bought from C328 as reported by Ah_ZhaN?Pricing etc?

I think zhan might be right about this species. Understand that the recent shipment is imported from Peru. Amidae from arofanatics got some recently and they are not easy to keep. For one, they keep attacking other fishes (even if they are bigger) as these parasitic catfish feeds either on scales or body mucus of other fishes.

Do keep us updated on your experience with them.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Thanks guys for the info, mucho gracias!

I actually got the name from Ben at Wuhu when he let me see the delivery list. At first I thought is some kind of Paedocypris or Danionella

Planet Catfish is spot on in describing their behavior so far, one of mine just lie on the
leaf and the other is just swimming about.

However, the part about "preying on crustacean" and "parasitic" when reading the posts is a bit unsettling. There shall be no cannibalism in my tank, I got my eyes on them, better behave.

But so far, it seems ok though, maybe because they are almost the same size as my rasbora kubotai, and shrimp. So probably they are too heavy to 'latch on' to the others to be parasitic.

I am feeding them ADP (Azmi Daphnia Powder) and my ph is about 6.5 to 7.
