cool. Thanks. If it's too small I would add some brown gravel top of that. ^^

What is the size of your tank?
A 9 Liter bag is able to fill a depth of more than 1inch
in a standard 60 x 30 x 30cm tank![]()

yeah need to find out what is your base area. In my opinion 1 inch is not enough but of course it is depend on the plant.
a 2x1x1 tank is about 14 gallons

Base was like 30x13 I think...

30cm x 13cm?
9 liters will be enough....thats about 9kg

Cool~ Thanks ^_^

much-much more than enough, maximum you probably only use half of it.
but 30cm x 13cm can't be 20 gallons

about 2.5 ft then I don't think 9l is enough. Are you adding base fert, ADA power sand?

nope. but, if its not enough I can go buy some gravel and put them for the base.

what type of plants will you be using? it you are using plants that do not need deep rooting, and if you are using plenty of rocks/DW then 9L might be enough.
If you are going to plants which require plenty of substrate, then get 2x 9L. I used 3-4x 9L in my previous 36*18inches tank.
