I have ordered aqua soil 9 liters from ada. I was wondering if it's enough for 20g or do I need more?

yeah need to find out what is your base area. In my opinion 1 inch is not enough but of course it is depend on the plant.

much-much more than enough, maximum you probably only use half of it.

    but 30cm x 13cm can't be 20 gallons

Late reply. I was kind of busy these days.
I'm pretty sure its 30x13 but, by inches. sorry not putting inches.
    Would that be enough?

about 2.5 ft then I don't think 9l is enough. Are you adding base fert, ADA power sand?

what type of plants will you be using? it you are using plants that do not need deep rooting, and if you are using plenty of rocks/DW then 9L might be enough.

If you are going to plants which require plenty of substrate, then get 2x 9L. I used 3-4x 9L in my previous 36*18inches tank.
