Its peacock moss and your tank looks good, might have to wait for the plants to bloom before we can really make a judgement call since everythings looks fine.

Hi bro, setup looks quite neat and presentable However, my comment is the lights are too strong (6 x 54w T5 HO !). For your set of plants and your tank is still new, I think you better start off with 4 x 54w. Speaking from my own experience. I also have 6 x 54w 4x1.5x2 tank. Kenna green water and hair algae when I switch on all 6 tubes when my plants are not ready (mine 80% all fast growing stem plants).

Take care and do update on the progress!

Looking great just 2 weeks of set up. Watch out the red lotus in the middle as it will grow tall and disturb the layout you planned.

Do you use a curved tank? (curve at the edge) Which brand is it? As a matter of caution and not to scare you, 5 years ago, mu curved tank cracked after 4 weeks of use because the glass was too thin to support the weight of water and sand.

thanks for replying zenscape, yeah the red lotus just kept growing and growing even after a major pruning it still kept growing, btw it's not those normal tiger lotus, its a different kind, i got the normal tiger lotus at the right side of my tank its growing really low and slowly just a few leaves. My tank is a curved oceanfree tank, the glass is quite thick actually, i have been using it for like 3 years already still strong and steady, anyway thanks for the advice.

Yeah will update when my tank becomes more mature. regarding the lightings so far still ok only some spot algae on the glass apart from that still ok, if i find things get worse will reduce the lighting.
    cheers!

Bro, good job man. Well balanced setup. Will definitely have a splendid look once the tank mature. Considering to add in a bigger DW as the focus point of the tank? Keep us posted.
