    setup:

    50bags x 5kg JBL base fert (dunno how many they used)
    15bags x 22.5kg gravel (same as above)
    2x2028 ehiem filter
    1 h/p aquamedic chiller
    4x150watts MH

    just curious. will this chiller has effect on such huge tank? it must be overloaded all the time...

    I would have loved to be attend but, alas, my wife and I are weekend prisoners of our kids, bogged down by their never-ending kids' courses.

    One suggestion... it would be of great help to newbies if you guys could include legends for the pictures and put them in sequence to show the important steps of the set-up process.

    From the pictures, I see that the base fertilers were added first followed by the gravel, but my impression has always been gravel first, then base fertiliser, followed by gravel again.

    Another suggestion...it would also be of interest if Teo could consider doing some aquascaping? for the backwall (e.g., windelov/ java plts fixed to cork/ artificial board) and make this the highlight of the next rendezvous.
