Large water change.
hey guys, i have a super mini tank with no fishes but only 2 damselfly nymph and snails with petite anubias and java fern. it has no filter attached. and i seldom do water changes.
a few days ago i saw this tiny white worm on my glass wall, it is encased in a brown covering and can extend out to move move about.
2 days ago there was a population boom and now there are worms all over and they seem to be spinning mucous threads around.
please advice me what to do!

hey its not eh, the worm is round and super tiny.. they spin web like stuff and make my water super foul, i did several water changes ler and still they keep appearing.. i have moved my plants to another tank and have cleared out my tank.. hopefully this would solve it..
I think sometimes I have this worm problem. Saw them in my betta tanks. If you break up that encasing thing, the worm would be forced to swim and it wiggles like mosquito lava. Actually, when they are swimming around, I don't see any difference between them and mosquito lavas Had noticed the same type of worm before in my fishless pail last time tried to keep some seasoned water for my bettas. My solution to it is to use a stick and break up the encasement right in front of my bettas and once the wom break free, the betta will take care of the job.The bettas are really curious fishes and they will come to investigate once there are any thing moving within their sight. But I am really not sure if they are really mosquito lava or some other worms.
Round and tiny don't sound like worms, could be some other invertebrates like copepods etc.
