We would appreciate if you do not use SMS lingo (eg. wat, urs, ur, thks, ppl, mi, upz, juz, pls, ......etc, etc, you get the idea).

There are two reasons to this request. One is to ensure that our thread contents are readable to members from all over the world and also to future proof the contents of the thread. I'm sure you would also like foreign hobbyists to be active in AQ and share their experience. They cannot participate in discussion if they don't understand and internet translaters cannot effectly translate those abbreviated lingo.

Second is to ensure that young student members use proper English in their communication. Although you may not have children of your own yet, I'm sure you will definitely appreciate that young members in AQ are encouraged to communicate effectively.

As such, we thank you for your kind understanding and co-operation in making AQ a better forum. You may use the edit button to correct your post.
