    yeah,Jeffery. Looks like a male. now with the white on the tail starting to develop and the blue speckles on the head area.

    Looks like your Tefe really beats the odds and turns out to be a male.. Glad that it really turned out to be a male which you have wished for.. Haha.. Wish my female could turns out to be like yours too..

    It can still be a female, unless the picture was taken awhile back. colouration on the caudal isn't a sure way to confirm the gender. I had female agas sporting colouration as well. sure way is to look at the shape of the caudal or best still, if it is really a female, ready to spawn

    Yup, only time will tell.... let's see whether the caudal fin becomes sharper at the ends.... I have 2 of these fishes and they should be the same gender. So unlikely that they will have a yellow jacket unless they are gay
