Something that crossed my mind when I was looking up info about fans...

We have a lot of lights on our tanks. Is it possible to use solar batts(correct term?) to power our fans... at least the DC ones.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    not practical.
solar panel output dc and are notoriously low in current.
just to give you a figure, to power 2nos of 12vdc fans with 0.24amps, the solar panel size will be 34.6cm x 34.6cm x 2.1cm.

Thought so... if it was workable, I'm sure Chan will be selling it already. []
