    1st plant is Hygrophila polysperma
    2nd plant is Rotala rotundifolia

    apologise if I get the ID wrong, haven't been IDing or around plants for quite awhile

    first one do look like a ludwigia cuba in half converted form to me.

    Thanks bro. So is 2nd plant confirmed Rotala rotundifolia ? Are both plants mid or background plants ? How is the growth rate like ? Mine is a 3ft tank with 234 watts.

    yes. It should be R. rountidifolia.

    Both are rather fast grower and needs strong light to look nice. Your lighting seems fine, PL or MH?

    I have 300W (2x150W) for a 322 when i keep a stem plant tank.

    Thanks bro. Mine is T5 39W@6. The Ludwigia within a week is reaching towards the water level. is it something wrong ? How to stop it from growing upwards ?
