    Hi guys,

I have been wondering what is the normal KH reqiored for planted tanks. do you normally add KH up to maintain the required KH buffer? Is the tap water's KH sufficient?[]

Maintain it at about 4 to 6. Read this.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:

Tap water is usually 0 dkH, maybe 2 dkH maximum.
Read the Aquatic FAQ to find out how to increase kH.
