    Hi everyone,
Purchased a 3ft tank sometime back but had no time to set it up due to NS Anyway, found some time this week to go down to the fish farm at Pasir Ris to get some equipment for my new tank. This is my first Iwagumi try-out, greatly inspired by Amano himself. First time using ADA products, expensive stuff but hopefully its better.

    Aquarium setup
    1. Tank dimensions: 90x45x45cm
    2. Lighting: 4x39 T5HO
    3. Filtration: Ehiem 2226
    4. Extra equipments: External CO2 reactor, 2 cooling fans and air pump
    5. Fertiliser: ADA Brighty Lights
    6. Gravel: 2x ADA amazonia II and 1x ADA amazonia

    Fauna
Not yet but planning on just Cardinal Tetras and some Ottos

    Flora
    1. Glosso
    2. Long hair Grass(unsure of scientific name)

Currently lights are 14000k, no time/money to change it as of yet. Gotta book-in today, hopefully plants will be ok when I get home on friday.. Feel free to comment.. Thanks

Awesome looking tank there! This will definitely turn out swell! But I believe it could be better if the gravel are not slope down right to the middle. An offset slightly to left would be great. Just out of curiosity, why you have an air pump for your tank? And those rocks! Rocks! Nicely layed out! Where you got them?

Air pump to provide aeration for plants when lights are off.. Dont know if its necessary but been doing this since my first tank. Rocks bought from Pasir Ris fish farm, the one along the bend at the main road.. forgot the name

    The plant look like E.vivipara.

Very nice hard scape, nice rock, I love the line feature on the rock

I personanly don't really like those slope on left most and right most, unless you come up with a way to smotthen the transition between glosso and E.vivipara. my 2 cents

wow nice rocks. i also feel the slope at the 2 sides could be made slightly gentler, so the rocks will stand out more? just my opinion.

The rocks are fantastic, my gawd! And the rocks layout is very good! One thing though, 2 focal points? And the plants at the background can be planted better!

    Good placement of rocks.
Maybe can consider one more piece of rock on the left? A small piece will do to be placed in the empty space in front of the rocks?

WIth Iwagumi, and you using ADA, would actually suggest you dump one pot of H.difformis or hornworts to suck up excess nutrients. Hold back on amount of the Green Brighty Lights. IIRC, the recommended dosage now is 8pumps a day.

Would suggest you use visual to see if the glosso requires the fertilisation.

Just want to emphasise the importance of small rocks... this scape would be wonderful if you used more small rocks on top of your current one... the problem is.. small rocks not really that easy to find..and you need alot!

    Nice iwagumi scape.
Agree with Shadow that the slope for left and right looks weird.
But i like the texture of the rocks.

You are quite good with rocks placement and choice on plants. Yes, the rocks looks ADA and looks natural. But I thought the E. Vivipara are too many because they will become bushy.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments. I just removed the background plants and also smoothened the landscape at the back a little bit..

Water is kinda cloudy now so will wait till everything clears till I take a photo.

Glosso is growing on 14000k lights but algae has started to grow on about 4 plantlets.

Ordered Osram 6500k tubes, hope it comes soon.

Will probably go get some more glosso tomorrow to cover the area as well as to get rid of excess nutrients.

A little off topic - Passed out of sispec as a sergeant today.. Good day everyone
