thanks chongyu for your kind words.

oh i inverted a small container that has been cut into half into the hang-on-back filter and allow the co2 to be trapped underneath. works something like a bell-like diffuser but got water current passing underneath..

ha, still evaluating its effectiveness, if it really works in the long term den i will post some photos of it to share! ha, my HC and hairgrass bubbling well but now i still having some hair algae problem ah, so still have to dose excel once a while.. ;p

hey guys, thanks for the encouraging words!

hey marle, i got place some co2 tablets once a while, but they are running low ler, so might depend on excel from now on.

bro wasabi, yupz there is a hang-on filter at the right side of the pic.. i oso still struggling with algae ah, no money to get a co2 system yet, so tryin to keep them in check with less light and yamatos.. ;p

actually this scape is meant to remind me to continuously strive for enlightenment. the bigger rock at the right is Buddha, while i am the smaller rock, bowing down in respect while endeavoring to cross the river of enlightenment. ha, got this inspiration after reading what sanzon iwagumi meant here.

think the plants have not grown there yet. But if it really does, you can trim it away.

From what I know, there is no content of fertilizer in the white sand thus even if the plant spread there, I doubt it will grow much. Like what Marle say, just trim it off.

hey guys, thanks for all the encouraging comments!

yupz the hairgrass still haven really started spreading yet, guess if they venture onto the white sand then i got to trim them off or pull them out to replant somewhere else..

but guys i have a question eh, my hc is starting to encroach onto the white sand, can i simply trim them down and replant the trimmings somewhere else? will the trimmed area regrow again? sorry ah, noobie question.. ;p
