Wonder anybody added iodine to the aquarium for shrimps?

I heard iodine is good for shrimp colouration, makes the shrimp more active and as well as for breeding.

From what I read, dosing iodine into the water is not ideal. Rather, the food should contain iodine, which will help them to moult.

Oh, iodine for consumption rather than as an element in the water. Learn something new today.
