Hi,
do you guys buy brand new CO2 cylinder or get 2nd hand cylinder?
if you buy brand new cylinder, when you leave it at the shop for refill and it takes a few days to get it back then what are you going to use for CO2?
if you do 1 to 1 exchange, you will lose your new cylinder? Or you go to factory to refill?

Mr Tan of System Control and Engineering is a responsible man and he will check leakage for you if you ask him. It takes a couple of minutes to top up. I am sure he is able to repair if there is a leakage at the joint.
It doesnt matter whether the cylinder is empty or not before top up because once the value is opened for topping up, the gas is out. By the way, what do you mean "flushed"?
Exchange cylinder in other LFS will save the trouble having to wait for a few days. But if you treasure your cylinder very much, on the spot top up is the solution.

well getting 2nd co2 cylinder should not be much of an issue.

and if you bough those NA type of cykinder, it have life time waranty.

if you intend to purchase a 2nd hand cylinder, perform some checks such as
a) no rust or corrosion
b) no dents
c) no signs of tampering or abuse
then for a peace of mind, ask a lfs tosent the cylinder for hydrostatic test. do note that testing companies may reject testing of some taiwanese aluminium cylinders.
