Hi everybody,
Tomorrow i will have a trip to Singapore for an overnight. I want to buy CRS which i can not find in Thailand but i have a very limited time. I will be staying at Orchard road. So can anybody advise me some shop around Orchard Road or very close to airport that i can provide CRS ?

Go Balestier's LFS, Nature Aquarium (sells A grades and above i last saw) or Colourful (sells C grades and above, 2 red singapore notes for 10 C grades). Kindly do a search as to their exact location. These 2 LFS are located side by side and their location is nearer to Orchard Road.

well, unfortunately all you can find here is cherry shrimp and grass shrimp...
if you really want quality.. you should only pay a visit to the crs farm at pasir ris...

I know there's a batch of nice crs selling at Colourful Tropical Aquarium. It is quite near to Orchard Road. Just take bus 54 or 132 or 143 opp Far East Plaza to Thomson Medical Centre at Thomson road.Originally Posted by Burky

Just an extra note to take notice to the operating times of some of these shops...if you are on VERY limited time..then it would really be a waste for you to travel to the shops only to find out that they have already closed.
I don't know about CRS haven (call them to confirm, phone number is listed in this post) but most of the other shops mentioned close at around 8pm.
the best way to get there is by cab as it is very far from the airport. you should contact Silane.
crs haven stocks crs but for higher grades got to preorder.. so if you visit they might not have the grades ure looking for.

think maybe eeeeemo was referring to contacting the farm owner as to how both parties can contact each other and settle with a deal that will create a win-win situation for both. Not necessary for one to go to the airport.

apologies. clarifcation: you should contact silane for exact farm location and most importantly if he will be there when youre there.
besides that..i believe he can offer you what you're looking for.
Instead of hunting for CRS.. can try contacting him to make a deal. hes letting go several SS grade currently.

Thank you for all responses and help... Finally i managed to get the CRS from CRS Haven shop @ Tampines on the way to the airport. And thanks to Philip and Colin (the shop owners) they were welcoming every customer in the shop perfectly. I got all the information from them i needed. And managing how to get the shrimps in the plane was painful as per the new liquid regulations but finally i put them in my backpack and checked-in that bag to the airplane. And by the bad luck the plane had an engine problem and we had to stand by 3 hours at the airport till the technicians solved the problem. When i arrived BKK the time i saw that my bag was delivered fine at the baggage claim then i could relax and take a deep breathe. And also luckily i had no loss from 6CRS and 20 Cherry shrimps and 3 snails.
The wait must have took forever, glad everything came out fine
