Replica ADA PH kit ...

Hi..

Bought this replica ADA PH kit from LFS in SG.
(the one with glass which allowed u to drops a few drops into the container and leave it in the tank)

it looks good.. but 1 thing i'm very confused is...
after i leave it in the tank for 2-3 days...
the bottom of the container like collecting some "unknown" stuff hence i saw some "whitening" stuffs at the entrance of the container (which is facing downward).

anyone of you knowing what am i talking about? hahah.. i dun really know what i am talking here.... argh... as i dun know what's that called...

This is not pH kit, it is a drop checker, used to determine your CO2 level.

The white stuff is probably the surface protein that was trap by the drop checker. You should clean it because it will prevent the CO2 from your tank enter the drop checker. It will effect your CO2 measurement.
