I'm not sure of A.agassizii, but my T.candidi when she wants to breed, she starts to dig out her own caves, destroying my scape as a result. But I believe, she will lay her eggs (if she breed) in some "cave" like overheading rocks or even the very nice diffusor you have there.
i can see the male trying to attack the female in quick spurts and the female will dart away.. the female like very scared? Thought the female should be the more aggressive one?
i made a cave for them at the back..
