I understand that the fresh water Altum Angels are very aggressive and territorian ***is there such word**. What about marine angels? Are they very aggressive towards smaller fishes? Are they more aggressive than cinamon clown fishes ? Is it true that the surgeon fishes will eat all the caulerpa algae until all become bare? How do I keep the eating of caulerpa in check if I decided to keep surgeon fishes ?

Try this website and you will find out each fishes behaviour:

Surgeon or Tangs are all 'green' eater. You can not keep Tangs with caulerpa togehter. That is their food in the wild.

    Yes, "territorial" is the word.

I'm afraid I can't help you here - I can't even keep my caulerpa alive!

    Greenhorn,
normally, u can safely keep a dwarf and a large angel together with no prob.. u can also keep 2 dwarf angels together.. if your tank like at least 4ft. i have tried keeping flame, lemonpeel and a bi-color inside my 4ft.. initially, they fought.. but after a while, they are settled down and have their own territory.. this phenomenon occurs to new fishes that i introduced..

if u have to keep caulerpa, u can try keeping them in the refugium.. but must be away from all the green eaters like what wangz had mentioned.. i feed my angels and tangs with lettuce... to supplement their diet..[] so.. it is not advisable to do that.. if u want to keep caulerpa, make sure that u dun have any green-eaters.. or they will become tasty snack for them.. and expensive one for u..
Let us work together to preserve the world for our children to inherit by being responsible to our surroundings. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, bubbles and memories.
