Hello Everybody!

DanGoh from Singapaore.

In the hobby for more than 10 years.
I have a 4-feet Juwel tank.
Started with community fish - tetras, etc.
Next went into Apisto - highlight was $100++ Wilhemi died overnight.
Then went into Discus - managed to experience birth of baby discus
and the baby feeding on their mother's mucus
Sad is none of them survive.
Anyway, I'm a 1-tank hobbyist.
Not much time and space to keep breeding tank, etc.
Currently back to community fish - cardinals and endlers.
One of the reasons is I'm very interested in planted tank.
Can't fiddle around with plants too much when keeping Discus.
I am also into keeping Echinodorus.
Partly due to its many beautiful varieties and also simpler maintenance.
Having problems with my Glosso now.
Not crawling. I know it needs Light, CO2 and Fertilizer.
Probably due to insufficiet substrate nutrient.

My dream target is to get some Platinum Cardinals.
Don't seem to have any locally for a long time.
Have found a source overseas but very ex.
Will probably try to get some for the experience.

Personally quite sad at the fishing hobby as a whole now.
Good old days like going to Tampines Fish Farm on weekends,
Pet Safari is also one good place to visit.
No need to buy but can enjoy and admire the many beautiful
planted tanks setup by Joey Chua of Sam Yick.
All the good planted shops seem to be gone - used to like Plantas
opposite Jalan Besar stadium.
Those are the good old days!

Was at Biotope last night.
Saw a Hongsloi II pair.
My favourite Apisto.
Not the Super Red but in terms of finnage and colouring
was still beautiful. This one has the "golden" head colours.
Really make me itchy to get.
But resist as my community tank has lots of mixed shrimps.
THe Hongsloi will have a wonderful meal in my tank.
