My pair of wild Simorum that i have had since October 2007 have decided to start a family!
The male has built a bubble nest and i was fortunate enough to catch them in action
Here are some pictures:
In the first one you can see the male working on the bubble nest.
The second one shows the happy pair under the nest together
The third one shows them circling each other.
The fourth one shows them embrace.
And the last one shows the female going stiff (that lasted for at least 15-20 seconds) and sinking to the bottom, before she came back to her senses.

Thanks guys, im really excited! I think i'll try to take out the female at the end of today so the male can watch over the nest in peace.
