When buying those rocks from LFS, how long do i have to soak/scrub them before introducing them to the tank? Anything to watch out for?

What I ussually do is scrub it, spray it and then boiled it. Once the water cool enough take the rock and use it.

    Others may use different way.

So many methods haha, most of us usually scrub it first then we boil them to get rid of the bacteria, either that or you can pour hot water on it if you do not have pots.

I suppose pouring boiling water over it and scrubbing away any excess dirt would be good enough. Mom would be mad if she saw me using cooking pots to 'cook' the rock.
