Not that I know of. But thanks to the forumer here - I find Seachem Carbon quite a good BBA buster.

You need to overdose it. 20ml as I did to my 2ft tank. Every other day. Don't change the tank water. Once you see them dead, do a good water change. Boost your CO2 bubble count after that.
no need overdose, just used syringe and apply directly. Do that every day for 3 days, and the BBA will turn white. Not sure if excel work for other algae tough.
hi guys, my tank got BBA all over liao (on gravel, in moss, on all the tubings, on rocks, even on some of the snails!). Too tough to be squirting the EXCEL directly on them.
So I am thinking of going to overdose into the tank instead.
Anybody think it is ok to empty the whole 250ml into my 3ft x 1.5ft x 2ft tank?
Existing faunas include 40 cardinal tetras, 10 otos, 2 puffers, and about 40 cherry shrimps.![]()
You might want to remove your fauna first before letting go the 'bomb'. Anyway, a syringe is still the best way to go about. You can buy large syringes at pharmacies, that way you won't have a backbreaking issue.
I have sinned! Can't catch the tetras as they are too fast, so after trying for quite a while, I dropped the 'bomb'.
Just wanna share my experience:
1) Suffered HEAVY casualties on the tetras, puffers and otos.
2) Has almost NO casualty on cherry shrimps!
3) ALL BBAs have turned reddish brown! EXCEL is very effective. Even those BBA growing WITHIN the moss and fissiden are terminated.
Do you guys know that spraying the EXCEL on planaria can kill them too? Anyway I haven't seen any planaria crawling yet, hope the EXCEL also got rid of them.
