    Guys,
Got 20 iron tablets from blood donation, wonder if I can use them for my plant? [] It's call ferrous fumarate. Just a wild thought! If can, this will be a new way to get your iron tablets free!

    i would say yes
not too sure if it dissolves well/easily, but iron fumarate is non-toxic (used in bread etc)
fumaric acid is also part of the krebs cycle, and is an essential part of plant life
i think the formula is 1,4-dicarboxylic-ethylene

    i doubt it somehow
fumaric acid strikes me as somewhat labile, much like gluconic acid and maleic acid
