Shrimps found DEAD inside rain bar !!

im running a ehiem 2213 with surface skimmer ...don't how come i found some shrimps dead INSIDE the rain bar ( which is the output ) ...if the shrimps were sucked into the filter won't the filter material trap it inside instead of being sucked in and end up at the small holes of the rain bar ?

I'm just thinking out loud here but could the shrimp got into the rain bar when they are smaller to eat and grow too big to come out? I know of a friend who has a hang on filter and the shrimps actually climb into the filter to feast. So if they can climb out of the water and into the filter, they can probably do the same for the rain bar.

i just got my shrimps for a couple of days only.... anyway i think the hole might be too small for them to enter

Know from your other post that 2 shrimps died after 24hrs too.
Wow, enhanzed, you are really unlucky to encounter so many shrimp deaths.

ya man ...please don't rub it in ...water parameters all ok .... maybe LFS sold me crappy shrimps

But all the dead shrimps are what type?
Cherry or tiger or crs?

i have 1 blue tiger & 2 crs dead on the same day last week.
i feel so devastated....
