i am not sure whether they pose a hazard to your shrimps, how about manually removing them just to be on the safe side?

If I'm not mistaken on your description. I got that once. Its due to poor circulation of water at the bottom part. Got myself a cheap submerged pump to improve circulation. It'll go away in no time.

i dont think shrimps eat white fungi. how big is your tank? is it practical to remove them manually? I've gotten that before, white translucent, fluffy looking. Used a hand pump to suck them out. Tiring.

Its really not easy to clean them. Only possible to pick up little bits and pieces here and there. Got fed up and left all the work to the pump. Think the pump kind of broke it down. On the 2nd or 3rd day, did a wc and managed to get rid most of it.

It'll be sucked out with a little substrate which has already been engulfed by it.

The last I had a problem with white fungi, some of my platys made short work of them. Perhaps you can give it a try?

Mosquito larvae means that your water is too stagnant. Actually, mosquitoes can lay their eggs on water surface that is fairly agitated. Perhaps the best idea would be to have one or two small fishes like Rasboras to take care of any larvae.
