Hi all i'm using the GenX red packet as a substrate,
i have kinda wash it alot during my 1st time use then i changed tank and kinda wash them again....may i knoe will the effect be as good if we re use it too often?

try to avoid washing any soil based substrate as you might cause it to disintegrate. such substrates should be directly used in your tank without washing

how long have you used the Gex soil? What type of plants are you going for? For moss, think it should be ok, other types of plants might need fert.

i thought you should not wash, all the important minerals or nutrients might get wash out
