    Hi All,
    I own a 4ft tank which is custom-make and since day one..there had been bubbles seen along the side glue of the tank..it been a yr still ok...but I just wonder will it leak due to pressure and temp change..etc???Anyone have any tank -maker who know how to repair this problem??

    Hi Fisher,

    - As the saying, 'don't fixed it unless broken' Since your tank have been surviving for a year oreadi, I guess u will also not want to de-comm. the whole tank just to patch back the few bubbles at the silicon area at the side of the tank rite ?

    - Anyway, I also have some 'little' bubbles at the silicon area at the side of the tank (3x2x2), and personally I dun think this problem can be fixed easily, cause I believe the Tank Maker will have to dismantle the whole glass, cleared away the whole silicon and repump in the new silicon again.

    - Personally, I feel the bubbles should be ok, cause Temp variations in Tanks will not affect the silicon. So, stay relax till the whole tank gave way ! Just like my previous 3ft tank ! haha

    dun have to worry much.. i have this long bubble stuck there in the silicon and my tank have been up and going for the past 2+ yrs.. and there is no way to repair that.. unless like what marlin had mentioned.[]
