As mention above. I'm comparing between FL, PL. Which cost more?
As what i know that my fren told me that start from the higher price to the lower price. First will be FL then PL then follow by T5 then T8. Is it correct?

PL costs more. FL is cheap.

From higher price to lower price it should be T5, PL, FL instead

wow.. then i think my friend told me wrongly. Yesterday went to C328 and ask the auntie PL or FL cheaper and she told me FL cheaper but she say PL is reducing price too and she introduce me a hopar brand light set and she say its light and durable. Waiting for my tanks to come then get from her.

Both PL and FL are not as durable as you thought. The light set maybe, definitely not the tubes.

I think the trend is towards T5 nowadays, right?

I am still using PL. They are bright but hot as well. For the same amount of space, we can install more wattage of PL than FL.

ya T5 is trend for planted but i'm not going to use T5 as I'm using only low tech plant and moss. And i will be placing the light around 1ft high. Not sure whether PL will do the job.
